Day 1. Diani Beach – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Meet and greet with your safari driver. There after you’ll have a short trip briefing before departure.
Begin your safari at 0600 hrs. Drive on a scenic road through Lush coconut & Bixa farms to join the main Mombasa –Nairobi road . Proceed via Voi town to Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary.
Mid-morning Game drive after entry. Taita hills wildlife sanctuary hosts four among the members of the big five & it’s adjacent to Tsavo west national park. The Sanctuary is rich in wildlife.
Lunch. Enjoy excellent views and photographic opportunities from SaltLick lodge lobby / terraces areas. Visit the underground tunnel and bunker with ground level windows that provides unbelievably close, yet safe access to variety of animals as they frequent the water hole for water & saltlicks. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2. Taita Hills – Amboseli National Park
Begin the day with an early morning game viewing before breakfast. Return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast proceed to Amboseli national park. Drive via Mtitu andei and Emali shopping centers to arrive in Amboseli national park in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive that shall take us to the observation hill to have a better overall view of the park including the adjacent marshy swamps. Wildlife is abundant in this park together with pelicans and other bird species. Mount Kilimanjaro forms the land mark in this park and clear views are possible.
Return to your lodge or luxury camp for Dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Amboseli – Tsavo West Nastional Park
Early morning game drive starts at 0600hrs before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Amboseli ecosystem is rich in both wildlife and bird-life. We’ll be looking for Elephants, Hyena, Warthog, Giraffe, Buffalo, Leopards and many more. After breakfast you’ll have one more view of Mount Kilimanjaro on our way to exit.
Leaver Amboseli and drive to Tsavo West National Park. Game viewing en-route to your Lodge / luxury tented camp. Check in & Lunch. After lunch, relax for two hours and then visit the Rhino Sanctuary. There are high chances of spotting leopard in this park. Continue with your game drive as you also enjoy colorful sunset. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park
We shall be up before the early bird to discover the unfolding events in the animal world. More wildlife are mostly seen in the plains at this early hours of the day. Its at this time we’ll keenly look for Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe and many more.
Return to our lodge or camp for breakfast. There after check-out and head on another game viewing exercise. This time we shall drive to Mzima Springs to view hippos, crocodiles, fish and a variety of bird species. The greenery surrounding the underground springs is rich habitat for bird-life.
Later proceed with our game viewing on our way to exit. Drive to Tsavo East via Manyani gate. Arrive at our lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon games drive in search for the “man eaters of Tsavo ” and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight in a lodge of your choice.
Day 5. Tsavo East – Diani Beach
We shall be up before sun-rise to head-on an extensive game drive. Tsavo East national park landscape is plain with short vegetation thereby making wildlife viewing easy and more enjoyable. Your game viewing will be spread to cover the greenery areas in this park where concentration of wildlife could be high.
Return to the lodge for breakfast. After Breakfast check-out and proceed for another game drive on our way to exit. Drive out of the park and continue on to Diani Beach. Arrive in the afternoon.
