3-Days Nairobi to Tsavo Safari Itinerary
Day 1. Nairobi to Tsavo West
Early morning departure from Nairobi and drive along the Nairobi – Mombasa road to Tsavo west national Park. Game viewing after entry en route to your lodge or Tented camp for Check-in and lunch.Afternoon game drive in search of the big five.Visit the shetani lava flow during this enticing game drive with possible views of mount Kilimanjaro with its snow-capped peaks towering above the clouds.
During your exciting game viewing, You’ll be brought to Ngulia Rhino valley for possible sighting of Rhino. The Sanctuary has more than 100 Rhinos but patience is needed to spot them. It’s only Tsavo West you’ll find Gigantic Baobab trees, believed to be secret tree among many African native. And, possibility of spotting Leopard in this park is higher. Dinner and overnight in a lodge or luxury tented camp.
Day 2. Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park
Early morning game drive before breakfast. Thereafter checkout and have another game drive this time visiting the famous Mzima springs [a major attraction in Tsavo west]. This Massive crystal clear waters play host to diverse aquatic life. Crocodiles ,Species of Fish, Hippos and many more will be seen.
Later exit the park and drive to Tsavo east national park. Game drive en route to your lodge for check-in and lunch. Afternoon game drive visiting pipeline area and Aruba dam. Tsavo east is wide and we shall explore this park in search of the red colored Elephants mostly found in large numbers, Lion,Leopard,Cheetah,Buffalo, Giraffe and a myriad of other wildlife. Dinner & Overnight in a lodge or Tented camp.
Day 3. Tsavo East – Naiurobi
Wake-up at dawn to listen to the sounds of birds and wildlife around you. Prepare to leave at 0600hrs for a game viewing adventure. Make your way up to the open grasslands to catch-up with the grazers in the field. There is so much to see at this early hours of the day. We’ll be looking for Elephants, Lion, Leopard, Giraffe, Buffalo, Hyena, Ostrich, Wild-dogs and many more.
Return to our Lodge or tented camp for Breakfast. Check-out thereafter and proceed for the mid-morning game drive. It’s not going to be as intense as the previous game drives, since we’ll be making our way out of the park.
