Tsavo-West Amboseli 3-day Safari Itinerary
Day 1. Mombasa – Tsavo West
Meet and greet with your safari driver guide. There after will be a short trip briefing just to make sure that you are in the same page in regard to your experience.
Depart from your hotel/airport or Port early in the morning and drive along the Mombasa – Nairobi road via Voi town and the Tsavo river gate to Tsavo west national park. Game drive after entry en-route to your lodge/luxury camp of choice for check-in and lunch.
Your Evening is well scheduled to begin at 1600hrs. We’ll drive to this expansive park with anticipation to see the “Big Five”. Lion, Buffalo, Elephants, Cheetah, Hyena, Giraffe and many more are found here.
Then, before dark catches up with us in the bush, we’ll visit Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. The Sanctuary host more than 70 but patience is needed, for the creatures to appear from the thickets around the water hole.
Retreat to our lodge/Luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Tsavo West – Amboseli
The sweet Melodies from the early birds will be excellent alarm to inform has that the day has started. Our game drive will begin before Sun rice. Everything in the jungle is at it’s most raw at this early hours of the day and we’ll be looking for more wildlife. Chances of spotting Leopard are relatively high in this park.
Return to our lodge for Breakfast. Check-out and drive to Mzima springs. Here, we’ll marvel at crystal clear water emanating from the underground springs forming massive pools. Enjoy aquatic life including Hippos, crocodiles, fish, Monitor Lizards and a variety of bird species.
Later depart Tsavo west for Amboseli national park which lies on the floor of Mount Kilimanjaro. The mountain offers scenic background for photography. Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Buffalo, wild dogs & more are often seen here in Amboseli national park. Lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight in a lodge / luxury tented camp .
Day 3. Amboseli – Mombasa
This is the last day of our safari .We shall be up before sun rise to discover nature and the unfolding events in the jungle. We’ll follow the animal trails in search of what we may not have seen before during our safari. Amboseli ecosystem in rich in wildlife. And, of coarse not forget to mention the splendid view of Mount Kilimanjaro in clear weather. The park hosts the largest population of Elephant herds.
Because of it’s landscape, searching wildlife in Amboseli is easy and more rewarding, with the snow capped mountain on the back-ground. Our game viewing will not be complete without going up the observation hill. From this point, you’ll enjoy an overview of the park and the adjacent marshy ground nearby.
Return to our lodge for breakfast .Thereafter check out and have a short game viewing en route to our exit. Proceed to Mombasa with lunch en-route arriving in your residence, Beach hotel or airport early in the evening.
