2 Days Tsavo East-West Diani Safari Itinerary
Day 1. Diani – Tsavo East – Tsavo West
Depart from your Diani beach resort at 0530 Hours and drive to join Mombasa-Nairobi Road & proceed to Tsavo east national park. Enter the park via Bachuma gate. Game drive after entry in search of the Big five – grazers & predators.
Visit the famous Aruba dam where lots of wildlife can be seen. Possible wild animals to be seen include Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Warthog, Leopard, Cheetah, Ostrich & many more. Later drive to a restaurant for lunch.
After lunch drive to Tsavo west national park with game viewing en-route to Ngulia Rhino sanctuary. Try your luck in searching for these large mammals. Continue with your game viewing with excellent sun-downer sighting. Return to your lodge | luxury camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Tsavo West – Diani Beach
Early morning game drive before breakfast. Thereafter leave for the mid-morning game drive which includes a visit to Mzima springs where Hippos, Crocodiles, different species of fish shall be seen in crystalline clear water and lots of exotic birds.
Proceed with your game drive visiting the Shetani lava flow. From this location you’ll be able to see the Africa’s highest snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro towering above the clouds. Return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch there will be another game viewing on our way to exit. Join the Nairobi Mombasa road and drive to either Voi town or Engwata for hot lunch. There after continue with your drive to Diani beach arriving late in the afternoon.
