Thereafter embark on this adorable Adventure safari to the northern district of Kenya well known for unique wildlife. The journey will pass through the central  highlands of Kenya. You’ll make some stops along the way to admire pineapple, coffee and tea plantations. The landscape is quick appealing with fantastic views of Africa’s 2nd highest mountain – Mount Kenya with its peaks covered by snow.

Proceed with your journey crossing the equator to arrive at your Samburu lodge or tented camp in time for Lunch . Afternoon game viewing drives which will include exploration of areas along banks of Ewaso Nyiro river.

Look out for the rare Reticulated Giraffe, Oryx, Gravy’s Zebra, cheetahs, Crocodiles and many other animals living in this semi arid area. Somali Ostrich is also commonly seen here.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or Luxury camp of choice.

Spend the whole day in this semi arid yet so beautiful land with unlimited wildlife viewing. Samburu is also known as one of the two regions where conservationist Joy Adams raised Elsa the lioness, later made famous in the book & movie – Borne free. Game viewing in this reserve is quite enjoyable. Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard together with other entertaining wildlife like Baboon, Dik-dik, Warthog and many more shall be seen during your game drive.

Your exploration of the so called three sister reserves – Samburu, Shaba and Buffalo springs make your safari to Samburu complete since all compliments each other in uniqueness.

Your safari game drives will not be enough without visiting one of the Samburu villages to sample their culture. Return to your lodge or tented camp for Dinner and overnight.

Depart after breakfast with more game viewing. Other than animal watching, the reserve also hosts more than 350 species of birdlife including kingfisher, vulture, guinea fowl, egret, falcon and eagle. You’ll have plenty to keep watching for on the land, in the springs and overhead. Exit the reserve and head on to Ol Pejeta conservancy. Arrive in your lodge in time for lunch.

Enjoy the participation in tracking any of the six pride of resident lions. The conservancy also hosts a number of cheetah, leopards, giraffe, impala, gazelle, zebra, hippo, monkey, baboon and packs of African wild dogs.

But Ol Pejeta is famous and special for something else, the Conservancy hosts the largest population of black Rhinos in a specially protected area. Wildlife viewing in this conservancy is quite fascinating.

Your day will not end without visiting the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Here you’ll view rescued chimps being nourished back to health and living freely in their natural ecosystem. It’s the only place in Kenya where you can see and enjoy these lively creatures.

Dinner and overnight in a lodge or Tented camp.

Early morning breakfast. Thereafter depart with game viewing and scenery viewing en route to exit .

Proceed to  Lake Nakuru national park which lies on the floors of the Great Rift Valley. There shall be a stop to view the Thompson falls en-route. Arrive in time for lunch.

Afternoon game drive in this rift valley lake often referred to as “the biggest bird spectacle “.

This is due to millions of flamingos, Pelicans & other species of birds that in habits the lake.

The park hosts a Rhino sanctuary [both black and white Rhinos are found here] and from the baboon cliff you will be able to have an overview of the lake.

Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast and then have your morning game drive as you leave this park for Masai Mara game reserve. Drive across the great rift valley and arrive at Masai Mara in time lunch.

Evening game drive will start at 1600Hrs. The scenery in this game reserve is quite appealing with wildlife seen all-over the greenery plains. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or Luxury tented camp.

Spend the whole day in this jewel game reserve of Kenya.

The highest concentration of wildlife exists here and you’ll be on the look out for the” Big Five”

Predators & Scavengers roam freely in this natural wildlife habitat. You shall have your picnic lunch by the Mara river as you view the wild crocodiles and Hippos. Lots of bird life is also found here. Spice up your Masai Mara Safari game experience with one of the Optional activities – The balloon experience is one of the unforgettable experience. Or even spare some time to visit one of the area Masai Village to sample their lifestyle.

Dinner and overnight in your lodge or luxury tented camp.

Optional balloon safari can be organized this morning[at an extra cost].

This will be followed by a departure from Masai Mara  after breakfast with game viewing en-route to exit.

Proceed to Lake Naivasha which also lies on the floor of the Rift valley and a ” bird watcher’s paradise”.

The lake has its own share of wildlife. Arrive in time for lunch.

Afternoon optional  boat trip around the lake with a stop at the marvelous Crescent island which provides more chances for spotting wildlife. A trip to the nearby Hell’s gate is worth a visit.

Return to your lodge or luxury tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast. Checkout and drive to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi.

This will be a relaxed drive with your driver making stops to point out sightings of interest. Divert through Emali and drive to Amboseli national park. The appearance of mount Kilimanjaro will be enough proof that you have reached Amboseli. After gate clearance, enter the park and begin your game viewing on your way to your lodge or Camp for checking and Lunch.

Afternoon game viewing which will take you to an elevated ground called observation hill. From this point you’ll be able to Marvel at the Amboseli swampy grounds inhabited by hippos & large heard of elephants. Other members of the big five also exists here together with over 450 species of exotic birds.

Mount kilimanjaro with its snow-capped peaks remains the land mark of Amboseli national park and it offers excellent wildlife back drop for photography. The park is excellently active with Wildlife activities.

Return to your lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Optional early morning game drive before breakfast.

Weather permitting the mount Kilimanjaro will sheath off the clouds and the sights of the snow capped  peaks will be awesome. Breakfast. After breakfast, leave Amboseli for Tsavo West.

Game viewing en-route to your lodge/luxury camp for check-in and lunch. Afternoon game drive. You shall visit the Rhino sanctuary during this time or opt to continue with your game viewing in this wildlife rich national park.

Dinner and overnight in a Lodge or luxury camp of your choice.

Optional wildlife viewing is programed before your breakfast.

This will be followed by a checkout and proceed for your last game drive . You shall visit the famous Mzima Springs to view Hippos, Crocodiles and different types of Fish in crystal clear waters.

Lots of bird life exists in this greenery location. More game viewing on your way to exit.

Drive to Tsavo East arriving in time for lunch. There will be moments of relaxation before resuming your evening game drive at 1600Hrs. Your game viewing will be spread to cover areas around Aruba dam and the greenery location on the upper hills. Game viewing in Tsavo East is amazing. Dinner and overnight at a Safari Lodge or luxury tented camp of choice.

This is the last day of your memorable Nairobi to Mombasa 11-day Kenya adventure safari package.

We shall be up  before the sunrise to catch up with the early bird in the field.

The splendor of an African sunrise that engulfs the savanna shall be experienced as we traverse the vast park in search of the early grazers and hunters. Elephants, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Giraffe, Zebra, Hyna and many more could easily be seen during this early morning game drive.

Return to your lodge or Camp for Breakfast.

After breakfast you’ll check out & leave with more game viewing as we now exchange notes on what we may have seen or not during our 11 days Kenya safari adventure package.
