6-Day Tarangire Ngorongoro Serengeti wildlife Safari Itinerary

Day 1. Arusha – Tarangire

Meet and greet with your safari driver guide. This will be followed by a short trip briefing before your departure. Then begin your journey from Arusha to Tarangire national park. The scenic route shall take roughly 2 hours before we arrive at the check-in gate of these famous wildlife park. Embark on your first game drive in search for leopards, Giraffe, hyena, Buffalo, Elephants, Lions, and many more. Check-in to our lodge or tented camp for lunch.

Evening game drive will start at 1600hrs. Head out to the field to witness grazers, predators and scaventure as they roam the plains of Tarangire National Park. Each moment in the jungle brings new experience. The park comprise of scattered baobab trees alternating with open acacia woodland, open bush, plains, swamps and rivers and stands of palm trees. Big game and birds are plenty. Among the larger mammals includes Lion, Elephant, Black Rhinoceros and Buffalo.

Dinner and overnight in your lodge or luxury tented camp.

Day 2. Tarangire – Ngorongoro

Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. You shall have one more exploration to Tarangire River, the centerpiece of the park, And a major attraction to some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Other potential sightings on this game drive may include lions, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. After breakfast, drive across the wheat plains of Karatu to Gibb’s Farm where a delightful farmhouse lunch awaits. Continue on to Ngorongoro arriving in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at a Ngorongoro Lodge or Tented camp.

Day 3 Ngorongoro Crater Floor Exploration

Wake-up to the sounds of early birds to witness the glorious sunrise from the crater’s rim. After early breakfast, descent to the crater floor for unimaginable game viewing experience. Here you’ll find the richest ecosystem of lions in Africa, plus thick numbers of the other predator cats like cheetah, leopard, hyena, and jackal. And you’ll discover plenty of other large game on the crater’s expansive floor like elephant, buffalo, gazelle. Elephants, Black Rhino and hunting dogs are commonly seen during your enticing game viewing. You shall pause your game drive to enjoy your picnic lunch. Later in the evening return to your lodge/ Tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Ngorongoro – Serengeti national park

Early breakfast, Depart from your lodge and make your way to Serengeti national park in a journey filled with excitement. Serengeti National Park is a treasure trove of natural beauty with each corner revealing something new and enchanting. Arrive to the park and begin your game viewing en-route to your lodge or tented camp for check-in and lunch.

Your evening game drive is scheduled at 1600hrs when most of the wildlife are easily found in the plains. You’ll be on look-out for Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Zebra, Giraffe, Elephants, and many more. The park is also famous for bird-life. Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Serengeti National Park

These is your day of exploration of Serengeti national park in style you wish best. You can opt for and early morning hot air balloon adventure or proceed on a normal overland game viewing. Whichever way you go, game watching here is quite rewarding. Your game viewing will begin after breakfast.

Experience unbelievable up-close encounter in the field during your game drive. Spread you search to cover areas of forest and marsh to see hippo and crocodile. But you are also here to witness to calving events. During calving season, an estimated 500,000 wildebeest are born and this happens between January and March annually.
